A step-by-step guide to use Wallfeed live wallpaper app.



Search for "Wallfeed" on Google Play. Install the same. Once done, click on Open. You will need to accept the Terms and Conditions after going through the same.

Select any Wallfeed by clicking on the same. You will first need to set Wallfeed as your Live Wallpaper. Please do that by clicking on the blue prompt and selecting Wallfeed from the list. Click Set Wallpaper button. Once done click on subscribe button.

Come back to your home screen. You will notice that your wallpaper will display the latest image from the Wallfeed you subscribed to. By default the image changes every 15 minutes automatically. You will also notice a small FC icon (wallspot) that floats on your home screen. This icon is shown whenever wallpaper is shown expect in Lock screen. This icon can be dragged around on the screen. You can long press to put it onto status bar and bring it back when you want to. If you want to momentarily hide the same, you can do so by double tapping the home screen. Double tap again to bring it back. The Wallspot takes you to the Wallfeed Options screen from where you can control and manage your Wallfeeds.

Your wallpaper changes now. Notice the FC floating wallspot icon. Long press the wallspot to put it into status bar. From the status bar you can bring back the wallspot onto the screen. Double tap to hide the wallspot momentarily. Double tap again to unhide it.

The Options Dashboard has few commonly used settings in the main area and the rest under More Options. There are two main horizontal thumbnail strips. The first one shows the wallfeeds you are subscribed to. Clicking on that reveals the individual images within the feed. Now within the second strip, clicking on each thumbnail changes the wallpaper to the image you selected. The text below the second strip shows you the title, author and time stamp of the current wallpaper image. There are a few options that you might want to configure.


  • Click WiFi Only button to fetch high resolution wallpaper images only when you are on WiFi network.
  • Click on Interval button. You will notice that default is 15 minutes. Set this to your preference.
Click on one of the Wallfeed icon to show the images with that feed. Set WiFi only option. Choose a preferred interval for changing the images. Click on an image to set that as your wallpaper. Notice the background wallpaper changed.
  • Click on Open button to see more information about a picture or to visit the portfolio of the feed creator. You will be prompted to open the link in the browser.
  • The Share option is convenient for you to let your friends know about an awesome feed. Click share button and select one of the sharing options. In this example we are showing Whatsapp. Select the contact and share.
Click on the Open button to open a link associated with the image. The link is opened on a browser. Click on the share button. A list of places where you can share is presented. Selecting Whatsapp in this example. Selecting a contact or a group.
  • Click on the Freeze button to have the current wallpaper image not change until an Unfreeze is done explicitly. This is useful when you like a specific image and want to remain there for sometime. Please note that when a feed is refreshed and the frozen image is not a part of the new feed, it automatically comes out of the frozen mode.
  • Click on Unfreeze to come out of the frozen mode and resume the natural course of wallpaper change.

You can subscribe to additional feeds by following the steps below.


  • Click on More and Select Subscribe option from the list.
  • You will be taken to the Wallfeed Featured section. You can either pick from here or navigate to Trending, What's New or even perform a Search.
  • Click on the feed you want to subscribe to. You will enter into the feed page that also shows the most recent images of that feed. Click on Subscribe.
  • If you come back to the Options Dashboard again, you will notice the new feed added there.

You can Pause and Resume any feed by following the steps mentioned below.


  • Click on More and Select Manage option from the list.
  • You will be taken to your Subscriptions page. Click on the Pause button which is present on the top right corner of each feed.
  • If you come to Options dashboard, you will notice that the Feed you just paused does not show up there.
  • In order to resume the feed, click on the play icon which will be shown on the top right corner of a feed that is already paused. This again will be in the subscriptions page.

You can Unsubscribe to any feed by following the steps mentioned below.


  • Click on More and Select Manage option from the list.
  • You will be taken to your Subscriptions page. Click on the feed that you want to unsubscribe.
  • Click on Unsubscribe button.
  • You will notice that the feed is no longer shown both in Subscriptions page and Options Dashboard.

You can Hide Wallfeed momentarily by following the steps below.


  • Click on More and Select Hide option from the list.
  • You will notice that your wallpaper will be changed to the system default but with still the Wallspot icon still present.
  • You can enable back Wallfeed by clicking on the Wallspot and from More options, selecting Show.
  • You will notice that the Wallfeed is back now.
